“The Recruitment” is an escape room-inspired online event where you are being recruited by a mysterious organization and in order to join their ranks, you will need to solve creative and challenging problems that require out-of-the-box thinking. The Recruitment will begin at 5 PM on Friday, November 6th and you will have until 5 PM on November 8th to complete it. During this event you will be ranked against every other participant taking part.

“The Recruitment” is an online event that can played from your home. All you need is a computer and internet connection.
Rankings
Live rankings are available for all participants. Keep track of how you’re doing and invite friends to participate to compete against each other.
Race against the clock
Do you have what it takes to complete ``The Recruitment`` before time runs out?! The first challenge becomes available on November 6th at 5 PM and you have until November 8th at 5 PM to complete “The Recruitment”.
Play with or against your friends
Work as a team or compete against each other. You can either purchase one ticket and work as a team on a single account or each purchase a ticket and compete against each other.
How does it work?
1. Register for the event. If participating with friends or family decide if you want to work together off one account or work individually on individual accounts.
2. Receive a confirmation email
3. Receive an email the day the event starts with instructions on how to start
4. Do your best to make it through the recruitment process before the end of the event.
5. Compete against others with live rankings
6. The event ends and final rankings are posted for bragging rights.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do we need to compete in this event?
A: This event is completely online, so you will need a computer that is connected to the internet.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: $50/account. You can work together with multiple people on a single account or each get one to compete against each other. Each account will be presented with the same puzzles and challenges, but the solutions will be different for each account.
Q: Can multiple people work on it?
A: Yes, you can work together with friends and family on the event! You can either register once and all work together off a single account, or you can each register and have your separate accounts (each account will have slightly different answers). Please note that once a stage has been solved, you are unable to go back and solve it again. For example, if you solve a stage while one of your teammates is not around then they won’t be able to go back and solve it themselves because you will have progressed on to the next stage, but if you each have separate accounts they will be able to solve/complete stages at their own pace.
Q: How difficult is this event?
A: This is a challenging event: 9/10 for difficulty. There are many puzzles/challenges that are very involved. There is a hint system available if you get stuck on a puzzle/challenge.
Q: How long does the event take?
A: Expect to spend at least 3 hours throughout the event.
Q: Can kids participate?
A: This event is made with adults in mind. We would recommend 16 and older, but it depends on the individual; you would know best if you think your child is up for the challenge. There is no mature/scary content in the event.
Q: Are there hints?
A: Yes there are, but with a catch. You will have access to hints for each stage, but when you take a hint your score will be penalized for ranking purposes.
Q: How does it start?
A: You will receive an email prior to 5 PM on November 6th with instructions on how to get started. At 5 PM you will be able to start working on it right away.
Q: What happens if I don’t finish before the end of the event?
A: At 5 PM on November 8th, you will no longer be able to finish stages for rankings purposes. You will still have access to your account until the next day, November 9th. After that you will no longer be able to access your account and work on stages.
Q: What is Nodus 805’s cancellation policy?
A: This is a live event and Nodus 805 does not offer any refunds for cancellations.
