What is The Challenge?
“The Challenge” is a fun and interactive virtual experience that requires teams to think outside of the box and work together to solve a combination of puzzles and challenges. The goal of “The Challenge” is to win by accumulating the highest number of points in 90 minutes. Points are awarded based on the difficulty of each puzzle or challenge that is completed. The puzzles and challenges cater to different strengths so having a diverse team is critical to doing well. With many puzzles and challenges to choose from your team will need to strategize how best to tackle this event. Will you choose to complete as many puzzles and challenges as possible or will you focus on the ones that award the most points? No two teams will have the same strategy and no single strategy guarantees a win. It’s up to you and your team to work together and adjust as time runs out.
Participate remotely
“The Challenge” is an online event that can be participated in from anywhere. All you need is a computer and internet connection.
Rankings
Live rankings are available for all participants. Compete against other companies and other teams within your company.
Race against the clock
Accumulate as many points as you can in 90 minutes. How will you and your team do under pressure?
Multiple Teams from same company
An unlimited number of teams can compete from the same company. Turn this corporate games event into a team building event for your company while seeing how you stack up against teams from other companies.
Flexibility
Your team will have the flexibility to choose when they take part in “The Challenge”. All you need to do is find a 90-minute time slot that works for your team between October 4th and October 22nd.
How does it work?
1. Let the corporate games know that this is one of your events
2. Register for the event. Each team can have a maximum of 5 participants
3. Receive a confirmation email
4. Receive an email on the day that the event starts with instructions on how to start
5. Figure out a date and time that works best for your team to compete in the event
6. Receive rankings at the end of the event

Q: How much does it cost?
A: The cost is $100 per team.
Q: How many participants are allowed per team?
A: Up to 5 participants are allowed on each team.
Q: How difficult is this event?
A: There are a wide range of problems and challenges in the event that vary in difficulty from easy to hard.
Q: What do we need to compete in this event?
A: The event is completely online, so participants will need a computer that is connected to the internet as well as a means of communicating with members of their team – for example, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Q: How long does the event take?
A: It takes approximately 90 minutes. You will have the length of the event to start to hit “start” and compete in the event. You and your team can choose a day and time that works best for you.
Q: How many teams are allowed per company?
A: There is no limit on the number of teams per company. Each team costs $100 to enter. This is a great event to have multiple teams and turn it into a team building event.
Q: Are there hints?
A: Yes there are, but with a catch. You will have access to hints for each puzzle, but when you take a hint your score will be penalized for ranking purposes.
Q: How does it start?
A: This is a flexible event – your team will be able to complete the event at any time between October 4th and October 22nd. You and your team will need to plan a time slot of 90 minutes to take part in it.
Q: Can we make this into a team building event?
A: Yes! This is a great opportunity for your company to have some friendly competition between employees while seeing how you stack up against other companies. If you decide you would like to make it into a team building event you can request rankings for just your company’s teams.
Q: Is this an event in the Corporate Games?
A: Yes, but you don’t need to be in the Corporate Games to participate. If you are in the Corporate Games make sure that you use your work email when you register for the event.
Q: What is Nodus 805’s cancellation policy?
A: This is a live event and Nodus 805 does not offer any refunds for cancellations.
